Pregnancy Journal Update: 15 Weeks

Pregnancy Journal Update - 15 Weeks - BorrowedBlessings.net

This update is almost a week late being posted… sorry for the delay!  With all of the Vacation Bible School madness going on, I haven’t had a moment to breathe.  VBS was a success, so I’m now catching up!

Date: 6/7/16
*2nd trimester*
15 weeks

I am finally feeling that second trimester boost of energy! I’ve stayed up several nights past 10pm {crazy, I know, right?!}. This week is Vacation Bible School at church. I’m so thankful for the extra energy – I don’t know how I would have done this during the first trimester!

SYMPTOMS: Fatigue, headaches, growing belly {haven’t gained much weight yet}, stinky gas, pregnancy brain
BABY IS THE SIZE OF A baseball!

{FOR MOMMY} I am….
LOVING being pregnant! The websites were right – second trimester is FUN!
FEELING excited about Vacation Bible School!
EATING lots of carbs – and I’ve even eaten a little meat lately {still not a ton, but a little}.
SLEEPING well, but not nearly as many hours as during the first trimester
DREAMING a TON! I wake up and feel like my brain has been running a million miles an hour!
SAVORING being pregnant… seriously. I know there are days with aches and pains and third trimester might not be so friendly… but I am so blessed beyond words to have the ability to carry this baby!
BOY OR GIRL? We find out in just a few days! We’ve scheduled an elective gender reveal ultrasound at an office about an hour away. I can’t wait to find out whether we need to buy boots or bows {oh wait, girls wear boots too… boy or girl, whatever}.

Thanks for following along on our pregnancy journey! 15 weeks down, 24 weeks to go {give or take a few weeks}.  We would love to have your prayers over the health and development of our little peanut! Check out all of our pregnancy updates and follow Borrowed Blessings at the top of the page.
