Cave Quest VBS: Advertising Postcards
We are using Group’s Cave Quest VBS curriculum this summer. You can click on the “VBS” tag over at the right to see more of our planning goodies. We advertise VBS in a variety of ways. Some years we mail out postcards, while other years we don’t. This year I decided to try the postcards and I couldn’t be happier!
One of the great things about using Group VBS is that they provide TONS of clipart and graphics that you can use for advertising. I saw some ideas on facebook from other people and modified their ideas to fit our church. All of the graphics are from Group clipart. I ordered the postcards from Vistaprint {they always have sales going on – I ended up paying $27 for 100 postcards in full color {front and back}.
To create these postcards, I used the clipart provided with the Cave Quest curriculum, then used the online photo editor PicMonkey to add the words. On the back, make sure to leave the space on the right for the kid’s address.
What other advertising have you done for VBS? Make sure to check out my other Cave Quest VBS posts. You can also share this post below or follow Borrowed Blessings at the top of the page.
