Cave Quest VBS: Decorating Spaces – Imagination Station

Cave Quest VBS: Decorating Spaces – Imagination Station

Our church used Group Publishing's "Cave Quest" VBS curriculum this summer.  I've shared many of our projects, but you may be missing out on a big picture idea of how our spaces looked. Our Imagination Station room was in one of our classrooms.  This room was proof that you don't have to spend a lot of time or money to make VBS special for the kids!  Here's how we decorated a super simple craft area. Sorry for the poor quality of these pictures - a lot of them are from my cell phone {I'm not…Read more …
Pregnancy Update: Gender Reveal

Pregnancy Update: Gender Reveal

My husband and I {okay, mostly me} wanted to splurge since this is our first baby and do an early gender reveal ultrasound!  We went to an elective ultrasound business at 16 weeks to find out the gender of our baby - and we invited our family to join us.  You may have caught on to our baby gender already by me dropping it throughout previous posts, but I just finished editing the ultrasound video. Without further adieu... we are so excited to welcome a baby.... {scroll down for spoiler!} ... ... ...…Read more …

Cave Quest VBS: Decorating Spaces – Cavern Cafe (Snack)

Our church used Group Publishing's "Cave Quest" VBS curriculum this summer.  We used our fellowship hall for both Bible Quests (story) and Cavern Cafe (snack).  It worked out really well since snack only happened once each evening.  I've linked below some of the photos to specific projects.  Feel free to holler if you have any more questions! Sorry for the poor quality of these pictures - a lot of them are from my cell phone {I'm not sure why my sleep-deprived VBS directing self wasn't more concerned with taking good pictures! hahaha}. *If…Read more …

Cave Quest VBS: Tabletop Gems

Cave Quest VBS: Decorating Spaces – Memory Gems

Our church used Group Publishing's "Cave Quest" VBS curriculum this summer.  I've shared many of our projects, but you may be missing out on a big picture idea of how our spaces looked. Our Memory Gems space was at the back of the sanctuary in one of the overflow areas.  This room was proof that you don't have to spend a lot of time or money to make VBS special for the kids!  Here's how we decorated a super simple bible verse area. Sorry for the poor quality of these pictures - a lot…Read more …

Cave Quest VBS: Decorating Spaces – Bible Quests (Story)

Our church used Group Publishing’s “Cave Quest” VBS curriculum this summer.  Bible Quests (story) was located in our fellowship hall - and they also traveled outside the front entrance of the church a few nights and used a classroom off the fellowship hall.  This was definitely the space that changed the most throughout the week.  The story crew changed the decor each evening to match that night's story.  I’ve linked below some of the photos to specific projects.  Feel free to holler if you have any more questions! Sorry for the poor quality…Read more …
