Group uses the NLT bible for their curriculum.  I’m usually okay with this translation {it’s supposed to be one of the best for readability}, but there are times where I’m not a fan.  This year’s Maker Fun Factory VBS bible verses are a prime example.  There are times where this NIV-raised lady just needs to hear the phrase “fearfully and wonderfully made”.  We’ll be using some of the NIV verses this year rather than the NLT in the Group literature.  Feel free to download these free printable posters!  I used similar ones last year to decorate our bible verse station.

You could upload these to a printing service {such as Amazon printing}, or print them at home/church yourself.  If you’re going to print them yourself {which is what I’ll do for bible verse area decor}, make sure you use cardstock paper!

NIV Bible Verses
There are a shorter and longer version of two of the verses.  The older elementary kids could definitely handle the longer verses!  To save these, click each image to open in its own window, then right click and save the image to your computer.

I am a long-time Vacation Bible School lover.  I’ve lead in several capacities throughout the VBS world and am currently our church’s VBS director.  It is a joy for me to be able to share VBS ideas and resources with others!  I will continue to share VBS ideas here as we prepare for Maker Fun Factory.  Follow the blog to see more of our ideas and planning!  Please let me know if there are any specific VBS items or ideas you need help with!  If you would like to share this post, feel free – I only ask that you link to my site rather than re-distributing anything.  Thank you!

    Hi!

I love your work! I recently got started doing VBS on mission teams. There is a huge shortage of VBS material in Spanish. Have you ever considered doing your work in Spanish as well as English?

Hi, Elaine! Thanks for visiting. I only speak English… but if you know someone who is fluent (or if you are) and want to send me translations, I can make these posters in Spanish! Thanks, Kara
