Roar VBS Decorating: Bible Verse

Our bible verse station is inside our sanctuary at the back of the room (in our overflow area). The above photo is the view from standing in the bible verse station looking toward the stage for opening & closing.

The station is separate from the main room with our bamboo fence. We purchased rolls of 4’x8′ bamboo fencing from Menards. My husband built the wood posts last year (they are so handy for church events of all kinds!). We used a staple gun to attach the bamboo fencing to the wood posts. Fair warning: the bamboo fence left straw-like pieces on the carpet when we put it up and took it down. They vacuumed up pretty easily though!

Our decorations in this station are very simple. The only things we put on the wall were our bible verse banners.

The tables were each covered with an animal print tablecover. My mom found ours on clearance a year or two ago, but here are some similar options. We hung the same tablecovers in our snack area behind our paper animal garland.

Along the bamboo fence at the very back of the bible verse station is one table for supplies. I design our own trading card style bible buddies each year and order them in bulk. If you’d like to purchase some of the bible buddies, just email me (borrowedblessings.net@gmail.com). We laminate our bible buddies, then hole punch them and attach them to a small carabiner. Some churches use them without laminating them though!
