Roar VBS: Plush Bible Buddies

Lions and zebras and elephants, oh my… Roar VBS is quickly approaching!  This safari-themed VBS is sure to be an adventure your kiddos will remember. 

Many VBS Directors I’ve talked to use plush (stuffed animal) bible buddies around their VBS programs… from photo booth props to stage decor to registration prizes, these animals are sure to excite your kids and add some fun!  Check out our favorite plush bible buddies below!

Day 1 Bible Buddy: Mack (Rhinoceros)

Shown above from left to right are a 12″ plush rhino, a sweet mommy (or daddy?) & baby rhino, and a life size (~3′) rhino!

Day 2 Bible Buddy: Hooper (African Hoopoe Bird)

If you’ve searched at all for these elusive birds, you’ll know African Hoopoe birds in plush form aren’t very common.  However, this Hoopoe puppet is great!

Day 3 Bible Buddy: Marge (Cape Buffalo)

This cape buffalo looks strikingly similar to our bible buddy Marge… how fun (and handy, since I couldn’t previously tell you the difference between a cape buffalo and any other buffalo).

Day 4 Bible Buddy: Zion (Lion)

It comes as no surprise that plush lions are much more common than the more rare animals above.  Shown here (left to right) are a reversible lion pillow, a 12″ lion plush, a “holiday” lion plush (watch for it to go on clearance after Christmas!) and a life size (over 6′!) lion.

Day 5 Bible Buddy: Savanna (Giraffe)

Who doesn’t love giraffes?!  Shown above (left to right) are an 18″ seated giraffe, a 14.5″ standing giraffe and a life size (over 4′ tall!) giraffe.
