Shipwrecked VBS Crew Signs (Free Printables!)

Every year, we have opening and closing in the church sanctuary.  Each crew gets 2 pews where they’re supposed to stay during opening and closing.  I make some sort of crew sign every year so that kids (and crew guides) know where they should be.  Feel free to use or share the crew signs (just link back here if you’re sharing)!

This year’s VBS theme is Shipwrecked {learn more about the theme here}.  The VBS kits are available now.  All of our VBS resources are designed to be used alongside any of the Group starter kits, although I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the ultimate version with digital.

Supplies:
Card stock paper
Laminating machine
Laminating sleeves

I’ve attached crew signs below for our crew names (we have one crew for each grade).  There’s also a blank template below so you can fill in your own crew names!  To download, click a Shipwrecked VBS crew sign graphic below.  Once the crew sign is large, you can right click and choose “save as”, then save it to your computer and print at any size.  These crew signs are formatted to fit an 8.5×11″ sheet of paper.

I print our crew signs each year and hang them on the end of the pew, but you could also make crew sign stands.  How do you hang your crew signs?

I am a long-time Vacation Bible School lover.  I’ve lead in several capacities throughout the VBS world and am currently our church’s VBS director.  It is a joy for me to be able to share VBS ideas and resources with others!  I will continue to share VBS ideas here as we prepare for Shipwrecked VBS.  Follow the blog to see more of our ideas and planning!  Please let me know if there are any specific VBS items or ideas you need help with!

I need a Crew 7 and Crew 8. Is there a way I can print over the blank sign?

I’m having trouble printing. It’s printing to the right of the page and cutting about 1/3 of it off. I’ve tried changing a few setting but I’m not successful.
They are beautiful and I’m really hoping to use them.

Karen – Did you save them to your computer before printing? If you right click and choose “save image as”, then print it from your downloads, then it should let you choose what size to print it.

Do you happen to have Crews 7-20 available anywhere? I need signs for 20 crews:)
