Supplies:
- Bible verse printed on colored paper
- Laminator
- Laminating sleeves
- Paper cutter or scissors
- Duct tape
- Wood 2x4s, cut into 11″ long pieces
Prep Instructions:
- Laminate the bible verses.
- Use the paper cutter to cut out each word of the bible verse separately. Trim it closely to each word – you don’t want a lot of extra space around the words.
- Make small rolls of duct tape (a circle with the sticky side out) to stick each word to the end of a 2×4.
At VBS:
Build a Jenga tower with the bible verse words in order so that it can be read. Tell the students to read the verse all together. Choose one student to push out a Jenga block. Have everyone say the entire verse together. Repeat, saying the whole verse each time a block is removed. When the Jenga tower falls, put your verse together in the correct order.
