How to Save Money on Ministry & Home Purchases with ibotta

I am a bargain shopper through and through! One of the ways I save lots of money on purchases (for church, business and personal use) is by using ibotta. Read on for instructions and examples of how I have saved hundreds of dollars through ibotta!

Full disclosure: I get credit if you sign up for a new ibotta or Walmart account using the links below, but I wouldn’t share with you if it weren’t legit… I’ve used ibotta and Walmart pickup for many orders and love them.

Here’s how to use ibotta with Walmart pickup:

(You can use ibotta in store as well, but as a busy mom I am all about the grocery pickup orders… just select your items online, checkout, then pick them up at the store – the workers even load your bags into your car!)

Sign up for ibotta > https://ibotta.onelink.me/iUfE/8cc13c64?friend_code=ezunga

Download the browser extension > https://home.ibotta.com/features/browser-extension/

On the ibotta app or website: Add items to your ibotta account by clicking the little check mark beside each item that you might purchase.

Start a Walmart pickup order > http://r.wmt.co/v/kara_1162

Search for each item from ibotta on the Walmart pickup website. If you’re on your computer and downloaded the ibotta extension, each item that qualifies for ibotta cash back will have a box around it showing the amount.

Add all items to your cart, checkout on Walmart, then go pickup your order.

Within 24-48 hours, ibotta will credit your account with the cash back from your saved offers. You can transfer your ibotta cash straight back into your bank account!

I know it might seem complicated using ibotta plus the Walmart website at first, but I promise it’s easy once you do it one time! My lifetime cash back from ibotta is over $400. I used it on the screenshots above to purchase free back to school items (some of which will go in our church’s Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes). Other items I’ve gotten cash back on include groceries/supplies for home and our business – there’s often great cash back offers on laundry detergent!
