Roar VBS: Printable Prayer & Bible Study Journal

A few weeks ago, I shared an idea for kids to make DIY journals at Roar VBS. Those journals had blank pages on the inside so kids could color, draw or write anything they wanted. My 2 year old LOVES her DIY journal with blank pages, but I also wanted to create an option for elementary kids through adults who are ready to grow in their faith. Thus, I’ve designed printable templates that can be used to create prayer & bible study journals for any age from elementary kids to adults!

Supplies

Instructions

  • Print the prayer & bible study journal templates on white or colored copy paper (I would suggest printing 10 double-sided sheets per child, but you could print as many as you want). You can save the individual image files or the ready-to-print page below.
  • Fold your printed pages in half.
  • Print “God is Good” template below on construction paper or cardstock paper for your journal cover.
  • Fold the journal cover in half.
  • Staple the journal cover on the front of the printed inner pages using a long reach stapler. We typically put 2 staples in the seam of the journal.
