Rocky Railway VBS: Mountain Scene Template

I was working on a craft idea for Rocky Railway VBS this week and needed a simple mountain outline. I couldn’t find what I was envisioning, so I made a printable mountain scene. It worked great for the craft idea (which I’ll share in a few days once it’s finished).

Coronavirus challenge: Has the COVID19 interrupted your regular children’s services? I’m going to post this template on our church facebook page and challenge kids to decorate the train in any way they want, with any supplies they have at home. I think it’ll be neat to decorate VBS with the trains and mountain scenes our kiddos made during their extended time at home.

Ideas for decorating with supplies you may have at home already:
-Coloring with markers, crayons, etc
–Painting
–Dot markers or bingo daubers
-Use school glue to attach: glitter, tissue paper squares, buttons, construction paper, etc.
-Decorating with toilet paper (since a lot of people have surplus – ha!)

This template is saved as an image file. To download it, click the image below. If the download doesn’t start automatically, right click and choose “save image as…”. Save the mountain scene template to your computer, then you can print it for your Rocky Railway crafts and decor.
