Free Christmas Activities & Lessons
2020 has certainly been a year like no other. While the Coronavirus pandemic has brought challenges we’ve never faced before (like our in-person Children’s Ministries being shut down for months at a time), it has also forced us to innovate how we reach families and children. Children’s Ministry publishers have really stepped up to partner with churches and families during this unusual year.
Many publishers have created and are sharing Christmas activities and lessons online, completely free this year. Read on for some of the free Christmas activities & lessons available right now, which are perfect both for ministry and personal family use…

BIBLE STORIES/LESSONS/BIBLE STUDIES
- Lifeway actually has free bible studies from 3 different programs right now (Bible Studies for Life, Explore the Bible and The Gospel Project). Click above, then scroll down to the bullet points and choose which age you’d like to download curriculum for. Each program has different resources, but the one I chose included printable lessons, activity ideas and videos!
- LifeChurch has a treasure trove of free children’s programs, which include everything you need for multi-week lessons (videos, leader instructions, bible stories, videos, small group lessons, parent take-home information and more)! Here are some Christmas-specific programs they’re offering right now:
- ThinkOrange has preschool, elementary and preteen bible lesson videos (only be available for use through December 2020).
