When I was organizing our decorating supplies, I realized we had quite a bit of zebra decor. It wasn’t planned far in advance, but our Imagination Station craft area ended up being zebra themed! Outside the door, we hung a zebra mask on the wall that I found on clearance at Target after Halloween.

The focal wall (straight ahead when you walk in the door) had most of the decor. I hung teal disposable tablecloths, then added zebra print wrapping paper (cut in half) along the top and bottom. The inflatable OAR letters were leftover from a CONGRATS sign. I ordered HAPPY BIRTHDAY inflatable letters to get the pink R and will reuse the HAPPY BIRTHDAY for my daughters’ birthdays. You can simplify things and just order individual ROAR letters (Target has the best deal currently but you can get them on Amazon for a little more). 🙂

We covered the tables with black paper. I didn’t want to use plastic tablecover since we were using watercolor paints. The paper soaked up excess water, whereas the water would run off the plastic onto the floor. We had a zebra printed balloon set already on hand, so I wrote Life is Wild and God is good on the balloons using a Sharpie marker and hung them on the walls.

I printed the week’s bible verses on colored cardstock paper, then hung those between the balloons. I wasn’t crazy about the look of the balloons (with the folds in them), but we already had them so it was a free decorating filler… and you know free is my favorite price! I think they would’ve looked better with helium in them.

Have you seen the other decorating photos? So far, I’ve posted our foyer, the sanctuary (where we have opening & closing) and bible story. I also posted a decorating walk-through video where you can see an overview of all the areas! I’ll post photos and decorating details from the rest of our spaces in the next few weeks.
