Cave Quest VBS Name Tags {with Free Templates}

Cave Quest VBS Nametags {with Free Templates} - BorrowedBlessings.net

Some years our church gives out free t shirts to all the kids at VBS.  It’s fun for the kids, but mostly it’s a super visible way to tell who should be in which color group.  The last two years, we’ve skipped the t shirts and just used name tags {different colors for different groups}.  At the end of closing each evening, we make sure to announce that everyone should give their name tag to their crew leader.  Otherwise, about three kids would remember to bring them back each day.  I ordered all of our supplies from Amazon.  This is the first year we’ve used this brand of name tag sleeves and lanyards and we loved them both!  They all held up well, even to the rigor of VBS all week.

SUPPLIES:

This year, we had four elementary aged groups {pink, yellow, green and blue} plus preschool {orange}.  The workers all had white name tags.  Our nursery/toddler group uses disposable adhesive name tags.  At registration, our lovely administrative team would assign each student to a group.  They had stacks of all the colored name tags  {you can see them in the green box above} so they could write the students’ names on the appropriate colored tag.  The registration team then put the name tag in a plastic sleeve and sent the students to the lanyard table.  We let them pick any color lanyard they want, so we just pay attention to name tag color when keeping track of kids groups.

I’ve attached several name tag templates that would work for Cave Quest below.  We used the ones that say Cave Quest VBS on the front, then we printed the message on the back.  You could personalize the message to fit your church or leave the backs blank.  To print these at name tag size {to fit in the sleeves I linked above}, you want to print nine per page, which is wallet sized if you’re using a Windows computer to print.  I’ve had a few questions on how to print images from Borrowed Blessings, so I made a step-by-step guide.
