Pregnancy Journal Update: 14 Weeks

Pregnancy Journal Update - 14 Weeks - BorrowedBlessings.net

This update is a few weeks late being posted… sorry for the delay!  With all of the Vacation Bible School madness going on, I haven’t had a moment to breathe.  VBS was a success, so I’m now catching up!

Date: 5/31/16
*2nd trimester*
14 weeks

Am I glowing yet?! The second trimester perks haven’t kicked in a ton. I’m still taking nausea medicine and fighting the urge to puke {only occasionally, thankfully}. Our church’s Vacation Bible School is next week, so I’m spending most of my free time focused on that! I did was every single dirty dish that was in our house… I’m fairly certain this is the first time the sink has been completely empty since I got pregnant, so it’s definitely cause for celebration. Maybe the second trimester energy boost is slowly kicking in? I might have felt baby flutters a few times this week, but they’re too light and too early to tell. I’m really looking forward to feeling baby move & kick more regularly! I read that hormones should be leveling out and moodiness should be lightening up… whoever wrote that was a bonafide crazy person. Seriously. All the emotions.

SYMPTOMS: headaches, nausea, lower back nerve pain, fatigue {pretty much the same as the last several weeks}
MILESTONES: maybe feeling some baby flutters?
BABY IS THE SIZE OF A Rubik’s cube or a Twinkie!

{FOR MOMMY} I am….
LOVING the itty bitty flutters that I’m very occasionally feeling.
FEELING pretty much the same as the last several weeks.
EATING cheddar and sour cream chips {which is weird for me, because pre-pregnancy me doesn’t like these}.
ANTICIPATING finding out the gender in a few short weeks!

Thanks for following along on our pregnancy journey! 14 weeks down, 25 weeks to go {give or take a few weeks}.  We would love to have your prayers over the health and development of our little peanut! Check out all of our pregnancy updates and follow Borrowed Blessings at the top of the page.
